About Joan

Joan is the founder of Joan Ross Photography, LLC. Dedicated to helping her clients, she provides professional advice and designs photography packages tailored to meet her client's individual needs and goals.

Prior to launching the photography business, she had acquired many years experience holding positions in banking, financial planning and taxation. With a Masters in Business, she managed Inventory Matters--a home inventory service company. There, her creations with photography and digital imagery were recognized. Her work is a synthesis of photography, artistry and technology.

Joan returned to Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts, obtained a degree in Digital Photography and has been successfully engaged in the field ever since. Her photography company was founded in 2004.

She is an active member of the Professional Photographers of America, Inc., Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts, The National Association of Photoshop Professionals, the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University and the Newburyport Art Association.
